Chris Herren hit his peak of basketball fame as a high school star in a town that worshipped him. Drug abuse and injury cost him his first opportunity at Boston College, and he was kicked off the team. Hiding his addiction as best he could, he starred for Fresno State and then was a 2nd round draft pick of the Denver Nuggets in 2009.
